Chatsworth Country House Wedding
Heathy Lea is the ideal venue for those who would like to get married in a home-from-home location.
It is a private and charming 17th century house which plays host to a private wedding with an intimate family atmosphere.
A marquee wedding at Heathy Lea on the Chatsworth Estate gives you the opportunity to take over this exclusive location for the weekend of your wedding. Tucked away in a private corner of the Estate this beautiful venue has spectacular views across the park and is a superb location for a quintessential English garden wedding.
For your wedding weekend you take over the whole of Heathy Lea and will have exclusive use of the gardens and all the accommodation for up to fifteen people in two self catering cottages and three B&B rooms for three nights. Breakfast for all guests will be provided in the B & B.
Your civil ceremony takes place in the delightful summer house at the end of the lawn facing the marquee and overlooking the parkland.
The marquee is sited on the main lawn of Heathy Lea and will comfortably seat up to one hundred people for the formal wedding celebration. This can be increased to around one hundred and fifty for a more informal evening party.
There is plenty of space on the lawn outside to enjoy the garden and views. We have unlimited parking for this number of guests.
The catering facilities are sited on the lower terrace, discreetly out of view of the main garden area, and accessed separately from the back of the house.
We want you to feel relaxed and totally ‘at home’ here – one of the advantages of getting married at Heathy Lea is that there are no rigid rules and regulations, no minimum and maximum numbers, no time limits, no imposed timetable and you are free to use the gardens and accommodation as if it is your own. We remain discreetly in the background and are here to help only when required.
